WPbasic Download
System Requirements:
- Supported OS: Windows 7 / Vista / XP SP2 or SP3, Mac OS X 10.5.8 (with 64-bit Intel CPU) or higher
- Required software: Java Standard Edition 6 Update 20 or higher (including Java Web Start)
- RAM: 512 MB minimum (1 GB recommended)
- Processor: 1 GHz minimum
- Free drive space: 10 MB
- Network Requirements: 802.11b wireless connection minimum (802.11g or 802.11n recommended)
Directions
This program is distributed as a Java Web Start application, meaning an Internet connection is required the first time you run the program. Most browsers will ask you if you want to run or open this file when downloading. If not, save the .jnlp file to your desktop and double-click to run. This program will install a shortcut on your desktop and in your Start menu (in Windows).
If you do not have an updated version of Java installed, you should be prompted to install or update to the appropriate version - some Java installs will have you close and restart your browser as part of the install. Make sure that Java is up to date before downloading WPbasic. If you would like to install Java manually, click here.
Download
Select the version that corresponds to the version of WPdisplay you are using. WPdisplay is a seperate program needed to use WPbasic. WPdisplay should be running on the shared screens/projectors you want to connect to. Look for the version number found in the upper-right corner of the WPdisplay window.
